Nicholas and Alexander believe strongly in Teamwork managing and bringing together people with appropriate skills towards a common goal. Either or both directors are directly involved on each project along with senior associates and support staff as required.
Nicholas Daviotis

Nicholas is a founding director of Nicholas & Alexander Architects which was formed in 1996 with over 39 years experience in the design documentation and administration in a wide variety of building types in the areas of Institutional; Residential; Commercial; Retail and Industrial areas.
As Project Director he has been responsible for the design, management, coordination, tendering and contract administration of many complex projects and has built up extensive expertise in these areas over the last thirty-three years.
Nicholas has extensive experience in working under a variety of delivery systems including traditional tendering, design and construct; cost plus; Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP); project management.
Alexander Gecse

Alexander is a founding director of Nicholas & Alexander Architects which was formed in 1996 with over 40 years experience in the design documentation and administration in a wide variety of building types in the areas of Education, Aged Care, Institutional; Religious; Residential; Commercial and Retail areas.
As Project Director he has been responsible for the design, management, coordination, tendering and contract administration of many complex projects and has built up extensive expertise over the last thirty-three years.
Alex is particularly focused in the area of design. He brings a thorough and practical approach and methodology. This is combined with a thorough understanding of construction and the regulatory framework leading to aesthetically appropriate, efficient and cost-effective architecture.
Dimitrios Blazos

Registered Architect- Victoria
Dimitrios Blazos is a Project Architect of Nicholas & Alexander Architects and has been with the company for 6 years. He graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2017, with a Master of Architecture (First Class Honours).
Dimitrios has had extensive experience in the firm across all project stages and a wide variety of building types. In recent years, Dimitrios has worked extensively with the Country Fire Authority & the Community Safety Building Authority to deliver several Fire Stations for the CFA in Victoria.
Jason Venter
ARCHITECT
M.Arch (Professional) (UCT 2011)
Registered Architect at South African Council of Architects.
Jason Venter joined NA Architects in 2022. He is an architect with experience in a diverse range of projects in both the public and private sectors. Projects include urban-scale civic and community-based buildings, boutique residential developments, as well as complex, smaller-scale renovations in listed heritage areas.
He has completed projects in Australia, the Netherlands, and South Africa. Jason is a design-focused architect with a passion for detail and has Project management experience in all architectural stages, from design inception to contract administration.

Daphne Daviotis

Jasmine is a Graduate Architect at Nicholas & Alexander Architects, commencing part-time work as a student in June 2021. She graduated from Monash University in November 2021 with a Master of Architecture. Overall, she has worked in the industry for 6 years.
Jasmine has worked on a range of different projects at various stages of the design and construction process, ranging from office fit-outs to larger, industrial buildings and has worked closely with consultants and builders to see projects through to handover.
Daphne has been with Nicholas and Alexaner Architects for 8 years with a background in health sciences. A valuable member of our Team with contributions including design, documentation and a flair for interior design.
Daphne prepares interior perspectives, has a wide experience and knowledge of finishes and in the design of joinery.

James has worked with NA Architects since 2006.
In this time, he has been involved in a variety of project types covering residential, multi-residential, commercial, industrial and Government and had extensive involvement in all stages and levels of architectural service from conception to design development through to construction and project delivery.
In recent years, James has concentrated solely on the documentation of Commercial / Industrial projects for the business. Through the extensive range of projects worked on he has gained strong knowledge of national regulations, codes and standards, construction methods and detailing.
